"A couple of years ago I transferred to National-Louis University from a state university. One of the contributing factors in my decision to leave was my disappointment in the science department of that large institution. I was therefore happily surprised when I began taking science classes at National-Louis University; instead of the overwhelmingly large amount of students in each classroom, there were relatively few students per class, making it possible for the professors to impart their lessons to the students in a much more intimate, and therefore effective, manner. The professors themselves I have found to be some of the most knowledgeable and able educators under whom I have had the fortune to be a student. These teachers constitute the strong foundation and framework that make National Louis University's biology department what it is: a place where education major, English major, and biology major alike may come to learn the sciences in an environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and understanding."
