Physical Science Major

This program provides a liberal education with a broad understanding of physical science.

Requirements

1. Students must complete 45 quarter hours of physical science courses (including appropriate general education courses), 25 quarter hours of which must be upper level. A minimum of 15 quarter hours of the upper level physical science courses must be taken at NLU. Physical science courses may consist of any combination of courses in chemistry, physics, physical science, geology, and astronomy.
2. Students must complete a second 45qh major or two 30qh minors to earn this degree.

Physical Science Minor

Students completing a Physical Science Minor will have a liberal education with a moderate knowledge of the physical sciences.

Requirements

1. Students must complete 30 quarter hours of physical science courses (including appropriate general education courses).
2. Ten of the 30 quarter hours must be upper level courses, and five of these ten must be taken at NLU.
