Global CardsThe Global Card, NLU's identification card, is a multi-purpose card that is issued to all students enrolled at the University. Students who attend classes at the Chicago area campuses will be issued a Global Card two weeks after the term begins. Those students registered in Field, Cluster, Cohort and FOCUS groups will begin receiving their cards the month following their first class.
You have the option of receiving a Global Card that will include your photo. The function of the photo card is identical to the non-photo cards; therefore students are not required to obtain the photo card. You can exchange your non-photo card for a photo card at the North Shore, Chicago, Lisle or Wheeling campuses. There is a $10 fee to have a photo card produced. Simply bring in your Global Card and the photo card will be issued and exchanged in about 5 minutes. Please contact the campus for available times for this service.
The Global Card serves as an official identification card and should be carried at all times when you are at a University facility or function. The cards many other features are listed below. Currently, most of those features are available only at the Chicago area campuses. Please check this page in the future for additional features that will be added to the Global Card.
